3M-Matic™ 800a Side Drive Belt Adjustment Case Sealer

The 800a features twin gearmotor side belt drives for heavy duty performance. the semiautomatic 800a seals up to 30 cases per minute, and is available in three models: the 800a with 48mm wide taping heads; the 800a3 with 72mm wide taping heads; and the 800ab for bottom taping only with a 48mm wide taping head.
Standard features include low-impact AccuGlide™ ll taping heads; compression rollers for precise tape sealing; dual masts with twin lead screws; a frame mounted upper tape roll bracket for easier tape mounting; friction brake tape roll drums; an easy-to-reach alternate outboard tape roll mount for the lower head; and easy-to-install laced replacement belts.

The 800af is a fully automatic case sealer that automatically folds top flaps and seals both top and bottom center seams - at up to 28 cases per minute.
Standard features include 3M's patented AccuGlide™ ll taping heads which apply tight, consistent seals; twin gearmotors; dual masts with twin lead screws; laced belts for quick and easy replacement; dual compression rollers; side shields at machine infeed with hinged access doors and safety interlocks; easily accessible stop switch on each side of machine; upper tape roll bracket attached to the machine frame; friction brake tape roll drums; an integrated box gating system (indexer); sturdy one-piece flap kicker; and alternate outboard tape roll mount for bottom taping head.

It features an optically controlled powered infeed conveyor that separates and holds cases for metered feeding into the taping area; pneumatic controls that adjust side belt feeding mechanism; upper flap folding and AccuGlide™ ll taping heads; free standing control console; Programmable Logic Controller; pneumatically operated rear flap folder and two finishing plows; emergency stop palm buttons; and movable protective side shields with machine interlock shut-off switches. |
